^Yes, and the Muslim world, which includes large chunks of Africa of course, has a very high birth rate. I have a hard time imagining a scenario where that's going to change, at least in the short term.

And it's not just the Middle East and Africa, there are Western European countries where it is entirely possible that Muslims will outnumber Christians, Jews and atheists in the near future.

World population will undoubtedly level-off but global demographics will likely look very different.

Discussions on birth rates are always fascinating. Many have already broached several entirely valid reasons why this has occurred in the West. But when you get right down to it, if you don't want to bring a life into this world (or two or three), doesn't it suggest a much deeper societal problem, perhaps one that people aren't necessarily even conscious of? This is, after all, what happens to civilisations as they regress...
