Line 4 is being upgrated to become driverless just like line 1 in 2011.
Except that they have chosen to use full sized platform doors on line 4 instead of half sized (5'7 ft tall) like on line 1. Line 4 has quite a few issues with intrusers on the tracks, especially on the northern part of the line.
Speaking of ambitious program, The largest network expansion project since the opening of Paris metro is currently underway.
Over 200 new km planned for 2030.
