They're both great cities. SF is a more compact, "traditional" city, with an incredibly beautiful natural setting. Mix that up with the funky architecture and it's a photographer's dream.
LA is of course, very beautiful as well, in a different way, but very photogenic and laid back.
The boat noodles dish I got in East Hollywood somewhere. The secret flavoring is pork blood. Yeah.
Pho
is a great hangover cure -- got that in the Richmond district in SF, where they had some pretty good Vietnamese food in general.
