Your pictures provoked a return to another recently posted image that the source describes as a view West on Wilshire from Fairfax. I recall it being mentioned on NLA that the Wilshire "Specials" extended west only to Fairfax. Was there anything special about the west-of-Wilshire Specials? I hasten to add that Westwood had its own variety of Specials.
