I posted a few screengrabs from the 1972 movie
'Hickey & Boggs' just over a month ago in
post #27060. They were concerned with the Brownleigh Apartments and St Paul Avenue, but there's a brief scene later in the movie that was filmed (with a static camera) on the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Larrabee Street.

By 1973, the Melody Room had become Filthy McNasty's. It's now The Viper Room.

This is getting a little obscure, but another filming location used in 'Hickey & Boggs' is Miller Drive, just above Sunset Boulevard. You can just see the top of The Tiffany Theater (8534 W Sunset) as they drive up the hill.

The theater opened in 1966, and was demolised in 2013. I had to go back to 2009 to get the Googlemobile across the street.
