I'm starting to think that a serious proposal for a megatall (almost certainly on 57th street, Midtown East or somewhere in the Hudson Yards) will be a reality by 2020 with a completion date before 2030. |
The biggest suspense will be what the population will be like in 2020. Both permanent and temporary. Its not even 2014 and we have so many residential projects going up. Not to mention all the new offices going up which will raise the daytime population as well.
