100,000-square-foot spec building in Bucks County lands tenant

A roughly 100,000-square-foot building built on speculation at a new industrial campus next to the Pennridge Airport in Bucks County has landed a tenant.

Fres-co System USA Inc. signed a long-term lease on the 101,920-square-foot building at 500 N. Ridge Road at the Pennridge Airport Business Park in Perkasie. This will expand Fres-co’s footprint in that part of the county.

The company maintains its corporate office in Telford along with a 270,000-square-foot manufacturing and packaging facility, research and development center and other operations on 32 acres. The company makes flexible packaging for a range of products including coffee, wine and other beverages, food such as soups, and chemicals.

This is the first building of what is expected to be a bigger campus. There’s a plan to construct six buildings with nearly 700,000 square feet of space that could total upwards of $60 million in development.
