I would say "most" are fairly ambivalent about it. It's an interesting thing on the skyline, but the people who live around it complain and whine a lot about microwave radiation giving them brain cancer and the possibility the thing will fall over in an earthquake and crush them. With the onset of digital and HD broadcast TV, there's a plan to put new antennae on it and and possibly enlarge it and the NIMBY's are a bit out of control over all that:
