In all honesty, it's not a very interesting subject, and water is difficult to render. In addition to make a modern lowrise, such as an aquatic center, curves and extremely complex, dynamic geometry is required, as well as landscaping, grass and trees, none of which is handled well by Sketchup. I don't think people don't want to compete, but this is a rather poor choice of a competition for the tools we are using.

How about a nice, simple comp like <700 foot tower. It's broad, open-ended, and let's people's creativity go wild. I think many of the comp have been so specific or difficult that few people want to participate.
