That's good, but that's like what Lambert got in a week. I'm not sure it changes the basic economics that STL is probably not enough of a traffic generator to justify two airports (although maybe the picture looked different when Lambert was a hub). Who knows, maybe Lambert will become a hub once again in the future and the airport's fortunes will change. If Breeze Airways actually launches, that might pump up traffic too.

I do agree that a line out to Madison County would be nice, but Madison County doesn’t want it. They don’t take part in Metro at all and they run their own buses via Madison County Transit.

Yeah, that's too bad. SIU-E especially could probably benefit from better transit.
