The last stats Canada number we have is from 2015 and is 7934000. From 2012 to 2015, Winnipeg grew by about 1.3% a year. That means that as of July 1st this year, we should be at about 804000. Extrapolating that forward by another 4 years, I made a calculation error - I should have said 847000. Good thing I didn't vote yet.
