It’s truly hard understate just how much Beacon Park has done in terms of reactivating this corner of downtown. NW downtown was a sea of parking lots surrounded by unattractive skyscrapers.
I get floored whenever I see a new angle of the renovated Book Tower. Before it was cleaned up often it was mentioned as one of the city’s ugliest skyscrapers it’s incredible ornate structure saturated with decades of soot gave the building a dark gothic look.
