Those from the Coeur d'Alene region!! Did you know that parts of Northern Idaho receive upwards of 100 inches of precipitation a year? The inland temperate rainforest extends into Idaho from B.C.. the furthest inland temperate rainforest on the planet. Coastal disjunct species thrive here. Most people have no idea!! Wallace, ID receives more rainfall annually than Seattle. This extremely unique ecosystem is being heavily logged and destroyed yet most people seem to be oblivious to its existence.
