I used to maintain the Canadians Abroad list many years ago (before MLS) when most of our potential young talent was outsourced to Europe. I can't tell you how many young men who were trialling or even playing in the system of many high profile European clubs have gone by the wayside, hundreds. They were "household names" amongst the Voyageurs (NT fan club) for a short time and then disappeared into obscurity.
So its good to be positive and recognize talent but let's also temper it with some reality, there's a long road ahead for these young players.

Haha I know, this is why I said the
potential is there. Whether or not it happens remains to be seen.
He's already with the U18 national team at the age of 16 and was named MVP of a tournament they played back in Slovakia back in April. It's not out of question we see him with the national team in 2-3 years.
