Interestingly, Katz also claims the team lost $1.4 million from 2009 to 2012. Which strikes me as hard to believe... this team rakes in a good amount of dough and pays next to nothing for players or the stadium. Yeah there's travel, coaches, office staff and what not, but I'm having a hard time seeing how this is a money losing operation.
