Clayton has it's relevance however it doesn't have what downtown St.Louis has to offer...There maybe more new construction going on in Clayton only because there wasn't really anything there to begin with as in old historic buildings.. You have the Shell Building being renovated as well the Chemical Building will begin reno's this year perhaps Jefferson Arms will begin to see movement among other projects happening in downtown St.Louis new soccer stadium possibly announcement of a 3rd phase on BPV among other developments..So downtown St.Louis is quietly coming back to life and theres a lot more relevance to that along with Claytons.
