I'm so very, very, very tempted to post pictures of Biltmore House (1895), and some of the art deco buildings around here, because for their time they were extremely progressive. Biltmore was, in fact, the most technologically advanced structure on earth when it was built.
However... it's richly ornamented and is recognizable as a house, which means that you and your ilk, Adrian, would like to see it burnt to the ground, I imagine.
