Correction on height: 39.5 metres is elevation (above sea level); grade to main roof slab is shown as 26.5 metres. Once you add the extended penthouses and what appears to be mechanical/maintenance space, you're around 29 metres.

A couple of things to note about this:

1. Though I may be mistaken, I recall reading somewhere that this building was going to be the second highest in Moncton (after Assomption). If height stats on this site are accurate, then it doesn't even crack the top 10.

2. Height is comparable to the events centre (26.65 metres).

In any case, I still think it's a bit gaudy and will look dated very quickly, but I'm happy to admit I was wrong about predicting that the project would never see the light of day.

It also appears that the plan to rent some units as apartments has been completely abandoned. With a number of units still for sale, I wonder why they wouldn't rent some of them instead.
