This is looking like a PR stunt. Just to make a point. I guess after the failures to stop other monstrosities.

Its a shame that they have such influence.

Kinda sucks that DoBro is such a hot bed for these anti-development folks.

But I think ultimately it will rise, as there is a process. Good old Deblasio will ensure it'll happen.

In general, the zoning needs to increase for many neighborhoods. To provide the parameters and acceptable range to increase density and add the much needed units. This way, the FAR would be higher and wouldn't raise so many questions, even if as-of-right.

The bloody irony is that its not that far from other taller towers or as the developmentally challenged would say "Monstrosities out of place with NYC, a skyscraper city".
