nawwh let chicago have the 2k+ footers, it's a natural midwestern inclination to way overdue it, like the hotdogs and pizza lol!
actually i would not have been opposed to one at the wtc site, just better or even plainer than the o.g. childs design. i'm not big on the shard/kingdom tower style either, at least for nyc. something more classic and...real...meaning occupied all the way up to the spire, for an nyc super duper tall.
