Birla Township
It's confirmed, i think. Birla will be investing in calicut for their township project, which will generate job for around
1 lac people, directly. It'll be near the mavoor rayons.
This is according to yesterday's Amrita top 10 news. There was an interview with industries minister Elamaram karim regarding this.
There will be spaces for IT/ITes,healthcare, education etc.
