Agreed. I doubt anything substantial will happen in the near future. If they can implement with money and strong vision, probably take 10-15 years to build out.
It's like we don't know how to utilize or develop a successful waterfront in the area. The area that I think they are doing the master plan is in green. Be nice if they could connect it up to Harrah's casino with trails, walking paths, and include water activities like kayaking so many feet off land. It could be our better version of "Wilmington Riverwalk". Have the soccer stadium is a nice center piece and the Commodore Barry Bridge as the backdrop is the bonus.
