The Cushing Hill project seems to have been injected with new life recently. In 2019 Regional Council approved the
new zoning for the Cushing Hill properties. Last week a development permit was issued for two of the properties within the residential portion. The permits are for 22 and 13 residential units. The residential zoning is restrictive because the properties are accessed off of Oakmount Drive which is a quiet, low-density, residential street. The unit count and zoning requirements imply this will be a townhouse style development.
