rival Midtown by all means . . please . .
unfortunately from narrow but important angles . .
often featured as favorite NYC postcard harbor-views of downtown . .
this 1100 foot needle could block views of major focal-point landmarks . .
obscuring 2 of the top 3 crowns downtown . . that of 40 Wall's pyramid . .
and the peak of 70 Pine (my personal favorite). .
that said . . if the building looks nearly as good as the above rendering . .
with strong abstract crown treatment as shown . . it could look pretty swell . .
This 45 Broad version gives us - not just another unique and exciting jag . . but also
one with an appropriately distinctive and worthwhile gesture for consideration up top . .
And to boot - there isn't a towering twig down in that neck of the woods yet . .
This is pretty exciting . . Is this really happening after just a couple of posts ? . .
