Central Ontario. A myth. A legend. A non-place of existence on another plane.

From the north, all is south past Parry Sound. From the south, all is north past Highway 7. From the east and west, Oshawa and Milton delineate the ever expanding radius of the GTA. Ottawa, living on the border of the Two Solitudes? Thunder Bay is right out; an area on the map scrawled with 'Thar be dragons' and question marks.

A centre, you say? A fulcrum on which this great province rests? A place that is neither north or south, nor east or west? That isn't the city nor the hinterlands? One Ontarian region to rule them all?

Madness, I say.
