27-19 44th Drive tops out

The last time we checked in on the former site of LIC Auto Repair on 44-12 Purves Street a/k/a 27-19 44th Drive was in May, when construction had reached 10 floor. Since then, construction crews have topped off the building, as seen in the photo below. Signage on site says the project will be called “The Watermark” with an anticipated delivery date of summer of 2017.
According to permits filed in October 2014 first spotted by New York YIMBY, a 27-story building with 168 units (122,790 square feet) and a commercial space of 2,807 square feet will begin to rise soon.
