I took this photo last evening as I was walking to the Gahan House Restaurant in downtown Moncton:

I thought the visual layering was interesting and shows how the downtown east end of the city is transforming. The Blue Cross Centre is to the left (partly reflected in the blue glass panelling of the Bank of Montreal Building in the centre foreground). The Marriott Hotel is to the right. The small building next to the BMO building in the centre foreground contains the Clos restaurant, which is one of the better high end restaurants in the city. I had the tasting menu there once a few months back, (nine courses), which was quite exotic. One of the courses was a quail heart on a thin slice of toast with a very interesting garnish. Quail hearts are pretty tiny.

The building in the background is FiveFive Queen, which contains condos, a high end liquor store, the Canvas Tapestry Hotel by Hilton, and the Gahan House restaurant, which was our destination.

Moncton is growing up...........
