I'm consistently impressed by Oklahoma City's drive to build grand civic amenities in recent years. You don't see a lot of cities, especially mid-sized cities, executing projects on this scale with such speed in the 21st Century. Tulsa isn't far behind with its recent opening of the Gathering Place along the river. Throw in proximity to booming North Texas, and also Northwest Arkansas, and I believe Oklahoma will be a far more prominent player on the national stage in coming decades. The stage is being set.
