Once all the projects they approved last week get built and the McD's HQ and accompanying office projects are done the skyline will not only be extnded, but thourghly filled in. I've been saying it for years now, but in 15-20 years the Loop will essentially extend all the way to United Center. In fact, the utter lack of NIMBYs past Ashland might cause the wasteland further west to develop even more densely than what we currently know as the West Loop.
