I just did 2 walking tours tonite of Wichita and Topeka Kansas. I couldn't believe my eyes! To think I passed up these 2 cities years ago as I was passing thru, thinking either city wouldn't offer anything. What a mistake that was!

I'm a sucker for curved buildings and outdoor sculpture, and I was bowled over with the street sculptures in both Topeka and Wichita. Humane type sculptures, not modern art, all done in bronze.

Being 71YO with COPD, I also look for the cities with the most sitting benches in their downtown area. Not always easy to find.
