I was in a rented car with guys from Dieppe and Memramcook and they were saying that we would have taken the 126 this morning if it hadn't been snowing north of Richibucto. Route 11 was a pretty bad scene with all that packed-down snow.

Indeed. I spent a weekend in Bouctouche last year and was pretty impressed with the place, even in the late-winter/early spring. It's a shame that I only ever travel through L'Acadie in the frigid winter. At some point i'll have to take a road-trip up to Lameque and around the Péninsule in the summer.
Apparently R11 twinning starts next year?
