First time I've seen that. Here in Montreal, gyros is standard, but it's definitely not the dish that gets advertised – souvlaki is the star of any cheap diner owned by Greeks (which is most diners). I'd bet you most Canadians don't even know what gyros is. They'd be more familiar with shawarma or donairs (the Canadianized version of gyros from Halifax).
