Status of the thread:

So far, there are approximately 410 midrises going up or in the preparation stage in NYC as of the dating of this thread. (Earlier posts have project sets with 10 or more midrises). Midrises being 6-13 stories for the thread criteria.

Thread timeline as of now: Apr 18, 2014 to Aug 29, 2014

* In terms of Midrises, it is slightly higher because there are some that I didn't add due to very preliminary data. I included some significant low rises and general developments, but they are a very small part of the thread because if all the low rises are to be documented by permit data, it would clutter the thread, and many of them do not have renderings.

In terms of highrises (see highrise thread), NYC is averaging about 3 to 4 high rises proposals per week. Some weeks better than others.
