I was there for Christmas party just few weeks ago. My friend's very reasonably priced (considering the location) pre-war NYC style 1bedroom apt was suprisingly clean and crisp. (the bedroom is on 2nd floor, looking Highland Blvd, right side of the entrance.) There is pool too, I heard, but didn't go see it.
