Total imports and exports to South Africa from the USA is just shy of 19 billion dollars a year
Total us trade including all imports and exports is 4.2 trillion
The entire value of trade with South Africa accounts for .0045% of us trade which in turn only accounts for about 8-10% of the us economy depending on how you tabulate it.
Total impact of all if South Africa disappeared tomorrow would hit the us economy by 0.00095%
So other than being on the news all day it’s impact on the USA is basically nothing
