Albuquerque has made it to the final list of 6 candidates to host the U.S. Space Command. The Albuquerque Journal has coverage of the breaking news:

The final decision will be announced in January. The other final candidate locations are in Texas, Colorado, Nebraska, Alabama and Florida.

This would be excellent and yet another shot in the arm for our economy, military presence and aerospace industry for Albuquerque to land the U.S. Space Command. I have my hopes up! Especially after so many people said Albuquerque wouldn't make it this far.
The Journal yesterday also had a story detailing the portions of the U.S. Space Force that are located at Kirtland Air Force Base.
