It may be the only place in town where you can visit the synagogue and nightclub without ever leaving the building.

Sharif El-Gamal’s Soho Properties has filed plans for a 29-story hotel tower at 560 Seventh Avenue, according to Department of Buildings records. The Stonehill & Taylor-designed building, located on the corner of 40th Street and Seventh Avenue, will span 118,508 square feet and have 243 hotel rooms, according to the permits.

Plans for the new building include a synagogue for the Garment Center Congregation, which will have its lobby on the first floor and have sanctuary space on two sub cellar levels. Retail space will be on the cellar level, first and second floors. The 28th floor will hold a nightclub, and there will be restaurants on the third, fourth and 29th floors.

El-Gamal is partnering with MHP Real Estate Services and Hampshire Hotels Management on the project. It will be Hampshire’s third Dream Hotel in Manhattan, joining 210 West 55th Street and the ultra-trendy Dream Downtown at 355 West 16th Street.
