I really like the Mies additions to the MFAH. I vaguely remember my mom taking me there in the early-to-mid 1960s, before the Brown Pavilion was built, when the white Cullinan Hall was the front of the building with a lawn between it and the street.

I would love to see that portion of the street closed and replaced by a pedestrian plaza with pavers that create a pattern radiating out from the support columns.
