Palms/Mar Vista is very hispanic. My friend lived over there and you'd often hear the 'el cucarocha' song playing from the produce truck that drove through the neighborhood lol. Taco shops and street vendors selling fruit with the rainbow umbrellas are everywhere. Hell, even laying on the beach in Manhattan or Hermosa, you're gonna have dudes selling you mangos and what not.
Plus, a hell of a lot of the 'white' people in Brentwood and Westwood are actually Persian. But our archaic system allows for no such nuance, so Middle Eastern people are largely classified as white. The West Side would never be confused with Newport Beach, I'll tell you that.
