Great tour! I did the reverse of your trip a few years back, starting at Monterey and ending up in Carmel-by-the Sea. I really enjoyed Carmel-by-the-Sea. Lots of very unique buildings! Although I went to downtown, Monterey, somehow I completely missed Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf, which are probably the two best known places to go. Oh well, more reason to go back. Plus I want to see where the Monterey Pop Festival was held back in ‘67.
