East Harbour: https://eastharbour.ca/
While Toronto's Humber Bay western cluster (and the big First Capital plans discussed above) is heavily weighted towards residential use, eventually an eastern Canary Wharf-scale cluster (mixed-use but weighted to commercial/office sector) will start to rise near the Don River.
Some of this may be buried in this thread (couldn't find it) and no news since since last year's sale of the project from First Gulf to Cadillac Fairview, but here's a reminder of the
masterplan-approved project.
East Harbour is the largest commercial project currently planned in Canada and once complete, this 12-million square foot, mix of office, retail, and institutional developments will eventually employ 50,000 workers - aided by the site's planned multi-modal transit hub incorporating potential GO Train/SmartTrack services, TTC light rail transit and the proposed Ontario Line subway.
