I'm of the mind that a new tallest would have to be absolutely perfect, since our current one basically is. I also wouldn't want anything too close to the Hancock to overshadow it. It should always be the tallest building for at least a 2-3 blocks radius surrounding it. I really don't think we will ever see a supertall tower built in Boston, and I'm OK with that. A lot of positive changes could affect our skyline without needing to be over 1000'. (American supertall, none of this 300m business for us)

yeah, because of Logan there's not going to be a 1000 footer in POS but 700-800 would be nice. Agree about Hancock, it's a beautiful building but i'd sacrifice it's dominance in BB with a supertall
but I also agree that our chances of a 1000 footer are next to nil
