What a pipe dream, to imagine housing around Cashman Field, a soccer stadium, and with not one light rail line in Las Vegas.. Having lived there for 22 years, and seeing plenty of pipe dreams, that area isn't even suited for housing. First things first, get some mid rises and high rises in Symphony Park and the area south of downtown, like a couple more Juhl like developments. And they may as well call it the Oscar stadium, as Oscar Goodman has been pushing the idea of a soccer stadium for over 20 years. His original plan was to build the arena in Symphony Park, and at least I'm glad it's not being build there as that should be set aside for housing.
