BLOCK 45 FINALIZES UTILITIES DEAL FOR 616 APARTMENTS, ALONG WITH RESTAURANT & RETAIL

The developers of Block 45 have secured utilities for the 36-story tower, with groundbreaking expected shortly.
According to the newly filed agreement, Block 45 will include:
616 apartments
12,473 square feet of retail
12,473 square feet of full service restaurant
The project will also include an 8-story garage with 637 parking spaces.
Construction is expected to begin this month, according to a filing with the FAA. The tower will have a permanent height of 386 feet above ground, with a temporary crane of 450 feet.
Block 55 is also expected to break ground this month across the street with hundreds of residential units and several hundred thousand square feet of retail. There are 1,122 apartments planned between the two projects.
Atlantic Pacific Communities, LLC is the developer of Block 45. Bermello Ajamil is the architect.
