The other bridge over the water on route to Hamilton Harbour is my favourite of those in the area. The Burlington Lift Bridge I've only gone fishing there from the pier twice. Got stuck for a cargo ship and saw a few pleasure craft pass under including a sail boat that looked like it was on a collision course for it but turned around last second. Always cool to watch it go up and down. Alarm is annoying as hell though.
