Ultimately the metro should have the following lines:
On a priority basis, the following should be the "roadmap"(sic) for the metro
1. Aluva-Pettah (Current project)
2. Kakkanad-Palarivattom to link up
3. Angamaly-Aluva extension
4. Pettah-Thiruvankulam extension
5. Kakkanad-Infopark-Irumbanam-ambalamedu extendion
6. Kacheripadi-Vypin-Paravoor
