Investor plans apartment redevelopment in anticipation of Park Ave. revival

The old, three-story office building at 3637 Park Ave. is the first phase of Underwood's big plans for the corridor near the University of Memphis. He hopes to eventually build another three-to-five-story apartment building behind the current one. And, with purchases of the Easy Money property at 3638 Park Ave. and the adjacent brick building set to close in a month, he's trying to buy as many Park properties as he can.
