Moving the Coyotes is the only one that makes sense really. You cant break up the Alberta teams or a new potential Vancouver-Seattle Rivalry. Splitting off any of the California team ruins the battle of California. The league also won't geographically isolate their new pet project in Vegas. I think they hope that Vegas and LA build a rivalry in the coming years.
