CTA (Chicago) bought four articulated passenger car sets in the late forties. I think they were in service into the sixties, possibly early seventies, and last ran on the Skokie Swift (now Yellow Line).
Each set consisted of three carbodies on four trucks, with a control cab in each end unit. When they operated on the Skokie, they had both third-rail pickup and pantographs.
