Planners, St. Jude compromise over Pinch building design

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and community planners waged an early battle Wednesday, Nov. 20, over how a resurgent Pinch District should look and feel when new buildings rise just north of the Downtown core... The 140-room, six-story building will fill the block surrounded by Third on the east, Overton on the north, Second on the west and Jackson on the south. The $100 million building will connect to St. Jude’s main campus east of Third with a pedestrian skyway.
